If I could only find the right words..
I am not a writer. There are many people in my family that can write but I am not a writer. I'm a talker. I would much rather tell the story over and over than to try to write it. I could sit in front of the computer for 30 minutes just to think of a response to an email. Even when I do figure out what I want to say I still agonize over the words I have chosen. (don't get me started on grammatical errors) Many times I give up and call the person so I know I have gotten my point across. My point in …
I hate when people say they are on a "journey."
Nowadays you can watch about any reality tv show and someone will go on a long tangent about how their experience has been a long "journey." I'm sorry that just bugs me! This has been such a long journey...blah blah blah. I could tell a story or two about a loooooooong journey but I won't, cuz it bugs me! Instead, I will begin my tale with something more dramatic like..."The trial of my life" or "The light at the end of the tunnel."
I have tossed the idea around in my head for a while now. What if I posted this ongoing story about a trial in my life? What would people think? Would anyone be interested enough to read my posts? Well, let's see.... Starting Monday January 18th I will begin. Ready or not... You asked for it...
The other day as my friend Ryan and I were working on my site he mentioned that I should write more blogs. I agreed but then began trying to think of something interesting to say. Yesterday at church it hit me...I will write a blog about Ryan. Ryan is a very interesting person so here goes. I think Ryan and I began to work together from a musical standpoint in 2002. He is much younger than I but a phenominal musician and I knew almost immediately that I could learn much from him. As the years have gone …

Disney VS. Labor
Hey Ya'll! As I write this I'm sitting in a swanky hotel somewhere in Orlando. We just spent the last 4 days in an out of theme parks and I must say I've pretty much had it! My husband Russ had to come for a conference here so we thought it would be a good idea to tag along and do Disney as a family before the conference started. We've done this before when the kids were much smaller and it truly is a blessing. I just forgot how grueling it can be to cram everything in! I bought my tickets at AAA and I …
First Concert
I just had my first little concert at my church last Saturday night. I could not be more happy with the way it all turned out. I kept waiting to get nervous but it never really happened. Praise God! I used to get so nervous but I just kept telling God "I trust you." He even saw fit to send my producer Mike Warner and two of his girls! They drove all the way from PA. I was surprised to say the least. I screamed so loud when I saw him that I made most of the audience jump! It was wonderful to …
